31. Oh Worship The King
1. Oh worship the King, all glorious above;
   Oh gratefully sing His power and His Love
   Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of days,
   Pavillion’d in splendor, and girded with praise.

2. Oh tell of His might, oh sing of His grace,
   Whose robe is the light; whose canopy space:
   His chariots of wrath deep thunder- clouds form,
   And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.

3. The earth, with its store of wonders untold
   Almighty Thy power hath founded of old,
   Hath stablish’d it fast by a changeless decree,
   And round it hath cast, like a mantle, the sea

4. Thy bountiful care, with tongue can recite
   It breathes in the air, It shines in the light;
   It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
   And sweetly distils in the dew and the rain,

5. Frail chidren of dust, and feeble as trail,
   In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail
   Thy mercies how tender, How firm to the end,
   Our Maker, Defender Redeemer and Friend.

6. O measureless Might, Ineffable Love,
   While angles delight to hymn Thee above,
   The humbler creation, though feeble their lays
   With true adoration shall sing to Thy praise. Amen

32. Only Remembered
1. Fading away like the stars of the morning,
   Losing their light in the glorious sun
   Thus would we pass from the earth and its toiling
   Only remembered by what we have done.

     Only remembered, Only remembered
     Only remembered by what we have done;
     Thus would we pass from earth and its toiling
     Only remembered by what we have done.

2. Shall we be missed, tho’ by others succeeded,
   Reaping the fields we in spring time have sown?
   Yes, but the sowers must pass from their labours,
   Ever remembered by what they have done.

3. Only the truth that in life we have spoken
   Only the seed that on earth we have sworn;
   These shall pass onward when we are forgotten,
   Fruits of the harvest and what we have done.

4. Oh, when the Saviour shall make up His jewels,
   When the bright crowns of rejoicing are won,
   Then shall His weary and faithful disciples
   All be remembered by what they have done.

33. Pass Me Not
1. Pass me not, o gentle savior,
   Hear my humble cry,
   While on others Thou art calling,
   Do not pass me by.

2. Let me at a throne of mercy
   Find a sweet relief;
   Kneeling there in deep contrition,
   Help my unbelief.

3. Trusting only in Thy merit,
   Would I seek Thy face,
   Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
   Save me by Thy grace.

4. Thou the spring of all my comfort,
   More than life to me,
   Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
   Whom in heaven but Thee?

      Thine the glory,
      Revive us a-gain.

   For Thy Spir-it of light,
   Who has shown us Our Sav-iour,

35. Stand Up For Jesus
1. Stand up, stand up, for Jesus
   Ye soldiers of the cross;
   Lift high His royal banner
   It must not suffer loss
   From victory unto victory
   His army shall He lead
   Till every foe is vanquish’d
   And Christ is Lord indeed.

2. Stand up, stand up, for Jesus:
   The trumpet call obey
   Forth to the mighty conflict
   In this His glorious day:
   Ye that are men now serve Him
   Against unumber’d foes:
   Your courage rise with danger,
   And strength to strength oppose,

3. Stand up, stand up, for Jesus
   Stand in His strength alone;
   The arm of flesh will fail you
   Ye dare not trust your own:
   Put on the Gospel armour
   And watching unto prayer.
   When duty calls, or danger,
   Be never wanting there.

4. Stand up, stand up, for Jesus
   The strife will not be long;
   This day the noise of battle,
   The next the victor’s song;
   To him that overcometh
   A crown of life shall be
   He with the King of Glory
   Shall reign eternity. Amin.

36. Take My Life And Let It Be
1. Take my life, and let it be
   Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
   Take my moments and my days,
   Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

2. Take my hands, and let them move
   At the impulse of Thy love,
   Take my feet, and let them be
   Swift and beautiful for Thee.

3. Take my voice, and let me sing
   Always only for my King;
   Take my lips and let them be
   Fill’d with messages from Thee.

4. Take my silver and my gold,
   Not a mite would I withhold;
   Take my intellect, and use
   Every power as Thou shalt choose.

5. Take my will and make it Thine
   It shall be no longer mine
   Take my heart, it is Thine own,
   It shall be Thy royal Throne.

6. Take my love, my Lord, I pour
   At Thy feet its treasures stored;
   Take myself and I will be
   Ever, only all, for Thee. Amen

37. THE HOLD RUGGED CROSS
1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
   The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
   And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
   For a world of lost sinners was slain.

      So I’II cherish the old rugged cross ….
      Till my trophies at last I lay down;
      I will cling to the old rugged cross …
      And exchange it some day for a crown.

2. O, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
   Has a wondrous attraction for me;
   For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above,
   To bear it to dark Calvary.

3. In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
   A wondrous beauty I see;
   For ‘twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
   To pardon and sanctify me.

4. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true,
   Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
   Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,
   Where His glory forever I’ll share.

38. THE SOLID ROCK
1. My hope is built on nothing less,
   Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness,
   I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
   But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

   Chorus:
     On Christ, the solid rock, I stand;
     All other ground is sinking sand,
     All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness seems to hide His face,
   I rest on His unchanging grace;
   In every high and stormy gale,
   My anchor holds within the vale.

3. His oath, His covenant, His blood,
   Support me in the whelming flood;
   When all around my soul gives way,
   He then is all my hope and stay.

4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
   Oh, may I then in Him be found;
   Dressed in His righteousness alone,
   Faultless to stand before the throne.

39. There shall be showers of blessing
1. There shall be showers of blessing:
   This is the promise of love;
   There shall be seasons refreshing,
   Sent from the Savior above.

   Refrain:
     Showers of blessing,
     Showers of blessing we need;
     Mercy-drops round us are falling,
     But for the showers we plead.

2. There shall be showers of blessing—
   Precious reviving again;
   Over the hills and the valleys,
   Sound of abundance of rain.

3. There shall be showers of blessing;
   Send them upon us, O Lord!
   Grant to us now a refreshing;
   Come, and now honor Thy Word.

4. There shall be showers of blessing;
   O that today they might fall,
   Now as to God we’re confessing,
   Now as on Jesus we call!

5. There shall be showers of blessing,
   If we but trust and obey;
   There shall be seasons refreshing,
   If we let God have His way.

40. They That Sow In Tears
1. Though it seems that your prayers have been in vain,
   Tough your faith the world would destroy,
   Tough your heart should ache till it breaks in two,
   They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

   Chorus
      They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
      They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
      For God is on His throne,
      Though you've prayed till it seems that your heart
      would break,
      They that sow in tears shall reap in joy

2. You have sown precious seeds in the midst of dispair.
   Now you wait for that life to brake through
   with love and grace you will run this race and
   overcome all sin and strife
   They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

3. Teach me, Lord, to wait Chords - down on my knees.
   Till in your own good time you'll answer my pleas.
   Teach me not to rely on what others do.
   But to wait in prayer for an answer from you.
