1. ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
   Just to take Him at His word;
   Just to rest upon His promise,
   Just to know “thus saith the Lord.”

   In our leader’s name we’ll triumph
   Over every foe!

   But our help is near;
   Onward comes our great Commander,
   Cheer, my comrades, cheer!

   For cleansing in Thy precious blood 
   That flowed on Calvary.
